Hot Air for Hearts Balloon RallyPeople all over the Midwest flock to our area, for this annual hot air balloon rally for charity. This event in held annually in March at Lakewoods Resort and raises money for Cable Area Lions Heart Benefit. Weather permitting, flights are schedule mornings and evenings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will fly as often as the weather permits. When you get to fly, views are incredible and after dark a balloon glow is schedule with 3+ story high balloons lit up from the inside, like giant luminary candles, what a sight!
