The fall colors aren't the only thing bursting to life in the fall. The Cable Area Fall Festival, held annually year the last weekend of September, offers visitors of every age a myriad of entertaining opportunities sure to make this your favorite festival of the year. Cornstalks, hay bales and pumpkins line the roads throughout the Cable community. Musicians, artisans, classic cars and phenomenal food vendors fill the streets.
Activities kick off on Friday with local stores offering sidewalk specials, artisans performing workshops or demonstrations and a Fall Harvest Dessert Contest, the public are welcome to be an "official" judge, if you are interested come by the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce office at 3:00 with an empty stomach! The evening concludes with a Corn, Pig & Chicken Roast featuring a Microwbrew Beer Garden with Live Music by our local Namakagon String Band where you will see many guests kicking up their heals. Saturday kicks into high gear with a Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Breakfast, Art & Craft Vendors, Classic Car Show, more Live Music, Kids Entertainment, Wine and Cheese Tasting and a whole lot more. With so much to do and everyone having such a good time you will find yourself longing for time to stand still!
A giant tent in the heart of town serves as the epicenter for all things Fall Fest but there are activities happening everywhere. Look down Main Street and you will find Art and Craft Vendors of all mediums, turn the other direction to find kids activities including Inflatable Bounce Houses, and a Free Art Tent for kids to create something special to take home . Highway M fills with Classic Car, Trucks and even a few Motorcycles.
Follow your nose and fill your stomach in our Food Court featuring many different cuisines and even a tent featuring some of our local restaurants best selling pies and dishes.
